For those attendees who need to present the reason why attending ICCS will be an essential component to their work as a cybersecurity professional, we offer the following template for your consideration:
Dear ( ),
The International Conference on Cyber Security (ICCS 2018) will be held January 8-11, 2018. ICCS is a collaboration between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Fordham University. ICCS 2018 will take place at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center campus in the new state-of-the-art Law School building designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners.
Since the first conference in 2009, ICCS presents the unique opportunity to learn from keynote, distinguished, plenary, and parallel session speakers who are all actively engaged in addressing cyber threats in the private, government, academic, and law enforcement sectors. Conference attendance is limited to 300 registrants, which allows for strong networking opportunities among the attendees. The cost of attendance is $895. In addition, there is a special Cyber Security Tutorial (CST) or Law Enforcement Workshop (LEW) held on Monday afternoon, January 8, 2018 prior to the conference’s welcome reception.
Information on previous conferences can be found in the archives section of the ICCS website: iccs.fordham.edu. Past ICCS conferences have brought together the directors of the DNI, FBI, and NSA for several historic sessions. ICCS 2018 promises to be just as important and historic.
Attendance at ICCS will allow me to brief my colleagues on the latest developments in government cybersecurity policy, cyber resilience, and where the new technologies are developing, explain the emerging cyber threats from the law enforcement network and lastly, be briefed on real-life incidents and the results of how they were handled.
Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis and has been sold out in all previous years. Please let me know once I am approved to attend so I can be sure to lock in my registration before it sells out.
